www.edfringe.biz began as an experiment by a group of local artists who noticed that there was a thriving underground art scene in Edinburgh, yet the community-at-large, including budding artists and children, were not aware of exhibits, performances, and educational opportunities. They realized that a unifying organization could bring the arts to Edinburgh in a productive and inspiring way. They believed that an organization such as www.edfringe.biz would improve the quality of life of every Edinburgh resident.

I visited Edinburgh about 20ys ago.Now I'm very happy because I can see this beautiful town by this site.TDM 06-07-2008
I was in Edinburgh, August 1-5, 1992 and loved it. After I left St. Giles, I walked east on High St.and
stopped for fish and chips at The Clam Shop and it was the most delicious fish I had ever eaten.
Sorry that I am not able to make a return trip to Scotland.Mikki, 25-06-2008
Sorry but every time I look at the Edinburgh webcam no matter the time of day,
it is a picture that is of the night with lights showing in a blur

The EdinburghFringeFest.com began as an experiment by local artists with the financial and energy support and
dedicated drive of Fusako Tsuji, Atsushi Shibata, Julie Chambers, Lindsay Michie, Fusako Tsuji, James Foster,
Ismail Bag and others who are local and international Entertainment Music-Theatre-Film-Dance-Arts consultants,
journalsists, photographers, reviewers and promoters. They then approached the INL News Group,
the USA Weekly News and other media and local and international business groups to help fund the setting up of
Edinburgh Fringe Festival Limited and
the New York International Theater, Film & Arts Festival www.NYITFest.com, www.NYITFest.org,
the Emerge Fest www.EmergeFest.org and www.EdinburghFringeFest.com and www.DublinFringeFest.com
Fusako Tsuji, Atsushi Shibata, Julie Chambers, Lindsay Michie, James Foster, Ismail Bag and others
noticed that there was a thriving underground Entertainment Music-Theatre-Film-Dance-Arts scene in Edinburgh
and many other towns around the world, yet the community-at-large, including budding artists and children,
were not fully aware of exhibits, performances, and educational opportunities.
Fusako Tsuji, Atsushi Shibata, Julie Chambers, Lindsay Michie, James Foster, Ismail Bag and others realized
that a unifying organization like Edinburgh Fringe Festival Limited, could bring the local and
International Entertainment Music-Theatre-Film-Dance to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival,
The NYIT Fest and the Dublin Fringe Fest in a productive and inspiring way.
They believed that a lot of hard work and some funding, run under an organization such as
Edinburgh Fringe Festival Limited coul be effective in helping to co-ordinate and develop the
New York International Theater, Film & Arts Festival www.NYITFest.com, www.NYITFest.org,
the Emerge Fest www.EmergeFest.org and www.EdinburghFringeFest.com and www.DublinFringeFest.com
would improve the quality of life of every Edinburgh resident, and the artis-music-theatre-film-dance comunities in
Sotland, United Kingdom Ireland, USA and the artis-music-theatre-film-dance comunities all over the world.
Fusako Tsuji, Atsushi Shibata, Julie Chambers, Lindsay Michie, James Foster and Ismail Bag and others have
created a volunteer board to establish the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Limited and
the New York International Theater, Film & Arts Festival www.NYITFest.com, www.NYITFest.org,
\the Emerge Fest www.EmergeFest.org and www.EdinburghFringeFest.com and www.DublinFringeFest.com
and within twelve short months, funding was in place to break ground to establish thier
7A West Maitland Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, location. Fundraising and generous contributions from media groups
such as the INL News Group, the USA Weekly News, citizens and businesses, were instrumental in creating
Edinburgh Fringe Festival Limited's first artistic center at the Base Night Club, the Cowgate, the heart of
the Edinburgh night life scene. The Edinburgh Fringe Festival Limited and
the New York International Theater, Film & Arts Festival www.NYITFest.com, www.NYITFest.org,
the Emerge Fest www.EmergeFest.org and www.EdinburghFringeFest.com and www.DublinFringeFest.com,
were not established to replace local artist organigastion, theatre-music-dance-film-galleries and arts groups.
Edinburgh Fringe Festival Limited wanted to provide a communal presence to help local artists thrive,
and unlock the artistic potential of everyone or organisations involved in any way with the Edinburgh FringeFestival,
the Dublin Fringe Festival, the NYIT Fest and the Emerge Fest.
Edinburgh Fringe Festival Limited, feels that it is time for everyone and every organisation to
work together for a common goal, to help develop, promote, finance and encourgage up and coming
talented people involved in any way with the Theater, Music-Entertainment-Dance-Film-Arts,
so that they are given every opportunity to develp and grow their talent, to be able
to make sure there is an organisation that can be there for them for generations, to come
to make sure there is a next generation of young people reaching great hights in
the Theater-Music-Entertainment-Dance-Film-Arts world.
